Sunday was the big day! Our Comet seniors are now officially alumni -- Class of 2024! Enjoy this gallery of pictures from graduation day.
The band started us off with Pomp & Circumstance as the seniors began filing into the room, two-by-two.
Student Board Representative Athena Brown was the Emcee for the event.
Board President Lorie Fox introduced the 50-year Coleman graduates. Thank you to all the Coleman Comet Class of 1974 for returning to receive this special honor!
The Class of 2024 selected one of their former Coleman Elementary teachers Mrs. Lisa Robbins as their keynote speaker.
The grads joined the choir to sing their last song together as a group.
Similarly, the senior band members joined the band to play the last song of their choice.
Next up were the valedictorian speeches! Kierra Allen and Alexis Germain both reflected on their time at Coleman and encouraged their classmates to do great things in the future.
Then it was time for the senior slideshow. Graduates and their families enjoyed viewing senior photos, baby pictures, and pictures of memories throughout the years.
Then it was time! Principal Jen Hess asked the seniors to line up to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas.
Pictured here is each senior with their diploma, in walking order.
Superintendent Jen McCormack rounded out the end of the ceremony with an inspiring speech for the Class of 2024.
Graduates turned their tassels to the left to signify their new status as Comet alumni.
They did it! The band played while the new grads left the gymnasium.
CONGRATS TO THE CLASS OF 2024! WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU!
