They got to meet members of the cast of the Fall production of Cabaret, and get to know other theater majors at the University. We love to see our Comets building skills and being proactive!

Some of our awesome student leaders attended Midland County Youth Impact Partnership's Leadership Day on October 24 in Bullock Creek. Our students learned about sense of purpose, positive peer relationships, and self-esteem. After the break out sessions, they were given time to brainstorm ideas for their school's week of kindness, which is November 13-17. Our students did a great job representing Coleman Community Schools!
Coach Todd Halcomb will join us as the new Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. Coach Halcomb has coached in a variety of sports over many years, including Boys Basketball in Vestaburg. Recently, members of the Michigan FFA visited the Coleman Regional Agriscience Center. Following is a letter shared with Mr. Fischer and Mrs. Zwemmer about their visit. We are incredibly proud of the students, our teachers and the program. Great work! #GOCOMETS
Good Morning Mr. Fischer,
Logan and I had a great time visiting your chapter and getting to know you and your students! We really appreciate you opening your classroom to us. I especially enjoyed learning more about how your program works and seeing the barn. Your classes were so fun to work with, we loved being able to use those full 2 hours! I think I can speak for both of us when I say this was one of our favorite visits. Also, if you have those group pictures or any other pictures from the day we would love to have you share those! We look forward to hopefully seeing you and your students again soon.
Thank you again,
Lilly Nyland
Michigan FFA State Secretary

We can get you a meal during this time as well! Homework help is always available during IGNITE hours. Let us help you be successful this school year.
