The Boys' Bowling team brought home some points on the 22 with a Baker match win and some Peterson match points for a total of 7 points! Big credit goes out to the team's dedication to learning and growing each time we bowl. Last but certainly not least, Jacob Butters bowled a 222; his best completion score to-date! Then followed this accomplishment up with an impressive 192! This is outstanding scoring for high school competition! Great job, keep working hard and Go Comets!! - Coach David Brown

Given that the Jr/Sr High staff and students did not have enough time this week to prepare for exams, we are changing up the format of next week a bit. Please see our new schedule below:
Monday, 1/15: Students will be given an extra day of review in all of their classes.
Tuesday, 1/16-Thursday, 1/17: Students will be given exams in their classes. Teachers will be communicating on Monday to students and their parents what day(s) they are giving the exam in their classes. Families should expect emails from the teachers letting you know when to be prepared for the exam in each of their classes.

Last week, Drama Club put on an awesome Christmas program featuring not only Santa, Mrs. Claus, and some elves, but also Romeo and Juliet, Glinda, Dorothy, and some munchkins from the Wizard of Oz, Elsa and Ana from Frozen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, our upcoming spring musical! Thanks all for all the hard work, we always love to see what Drama Club will bring us next!
United Bay Community Credit Union very recently joined our community and immediately reached out to the district to ask what they could do to support updating the old scoreboards, which served us well for many years. Last Friday, we were excited to unveil our brand new gym scoreboards, generously and entirely paid for by United Bay! With their donation, nothing has come out of the pockets of our community to finance this project.
These boards will be used for volleyball, wrestling, and basketball throughout the year and assist us in continuing to update the look of our Jr/Sr High gymnasium. A sincere thank you to United Bay Community Credit Union and its representatives for their support. Joining us from the UBCCU team that evening was Diane Abbonizio, Doug Kelly, Kerri Singley, Jen Shelby, Mackenzie Shelby, Leslie Webb, and Jayna Hafelein. A special thank you to Emily Burgess who was not able to be here that night, for her tremendous efforts and support to make this happen. Thank you all!
Congrats to Joseph Vansickle for getting his first Turkey (3 strikes in a row) during bowling practice last week! Way to go, "Jotatochip!"
